The Treatment End Point is fine veins may blanch, larger veins are thicker and may
blanch or turn grayish and flatten. You should not see a refill/rebound after the
vessel is depressed. The onset of surrounding erythema and edema occurs in a few
minutes. It is important to select the right handpieces; smaller superficial veins
require smaller spot size, and larger deeper veins require a larger spot size.
Erythema (reddening) can last a few days, some smaller superficial vessels can form
a cat scratch scab over vein patch, and larger veins will take a few weeks to
fade. The expected outcome is resolution in one to three treatments.
Vessels may take 8 weeks to fade. |
